    This was one of my stories that went viral worldwide. I found and wrote this exclusive for Ferrari Press Agency which was bought by Manchester Evening News revealing that David Beckham unknowingly signed a birthday card for a suspected Madrid train bomber just weeks before the 2004 attack.

    2004 Madrid Train Bombings

    In 2007, I reported on the verdicts from Spain’s biggest terrorism trial, held over the 2004 Madrid train bombings that killed 191 people.

    The court convicted 21 defendants and acquitted 7. Among those sentenced, key figures received tens of thousands of years in prison – though Spanish law capped actual time served at 40 years. The case was a defining moment in Spain’s fight against terrorism and shaped public debate on justice and security.
